Insurance cover
We have signed contracts with all health insurers except Caresq. This means we can arrange payment directly through your health insurer, as long as you have supplementary insurance cover for physiotherapy. Your insurance policy will state whether you are covered for this treatment. If you do not have supplementary insurance cover, please see our fees.
Chronic medical conditions
If you are diagnosed with a chronic medical condition that appears on the list of chronic medical conditions, you must pay for the first 20 sessions yourself. Your insurer can tell you whether you have supplementary cover for these 20 sessions. Your basic health insurance covers the costs of subsequent sessions.
If you had in the preceding year physical therapy, associated with a chronic condition, and the right to full compensation in the basic insurance, then you keep this right in the following years. If in doubt, check with your health care provider, they can tell you exactly what is covered by your policy in your case.
For osteoarthritis, intermittent claudication and COPD apply separate rules. Look in your policy for details
If you cannot attend your appointment
If you are unable to attend your appointment and cancel at least 24 hours in advance, you will not be charged for the appointment. If you cancel too late or fail to inform us, you will be charged. Missed appointments are charged at 70% of the rate for the relevant treatment. Your insurer will not refund this fee.
